Our History
A Woman of Inspiration
Emerald’s Jewels, Inc. was founded in 2006 by Denise R. Jackson in memory of her mother, Emerald Constance Mosby-Jackson. The values and goals of the organization are built on the life lessons taught by her parents Earl and Emerald Jackson. They treated their children like jewels and taught them:
-
How to love
-
The importance of education
-
To always do their best
-
To be responsible
-
To be respectful
-
How to share their gifts with others
-
Honesty and integrity
-
Generosity
-
That their thoughts and feelings matter
At Emerald’s Jewels, Inc, we share Emerald’s belief that all children are as precious as jewels. They should be loved unconditionally and treated with special care and consideration. When caring adults teach and model these principles, it helps children know their own value. This, in turn, can shape young people into productive members of society.
